RUTHMANN’s success continues unabated

After enjoying yet another successful year in 2015, RUTHMANN has started the year with many orders on hand.  Numerous incoming orders were processed in January alone.  For the German aerial work platform manufacturer, 2016 looks very promising indeed.

In 2015, the RUTHMANN Group – consisting of Ruthmann GmbH & Co. KG, Ruthmann Finance GmbH & Co. KG, and Ruthmann GmbH in Austria – recorded almost 114 million euros in sales. This was another marked increase compared to 2014.

All operational divisions – especially STEIGER ®, VERSALIFT ®, and Service – saw significant growth and achieved record sales.

For the current fiscal year, the many orders on hand and incoming orders are an early indication that sales figures in 2016 will remain robust and could very well surpass the record turnover enjoyed in 2015.

Sales Director – Uwe Strotmann – stated, “RUTHMANN’s sales volume has risen steadily over the past several years. Thanks to our optimized production process and enhanced output capacity, we have been able to keep up with the ever-growing demand for our products. In 2016, additional capacities will be expanded to further speed up delivery times."

General Manager – Rolf Kulawik – made the following comment: "Once again, we would like to thank all of our customers for the trust they have placed in us. The various categories and working heights of our truck-mounted aerial work platforms meet all of the expectations of our diverse target groups. New developments, such as the STEIGER ® T 480, TB 270+, or recently introduced STEIGER ® T 360 and T 170, are already extremely popular at home and abroad.”

RUTHMANN’s Commercial Director – Uwe Stapper – added, “In 2015, we continued implementing our multi-million euro investment programme in Service. Our market-leading products appeal to a growing list of clients who rely on our highly qualified personnel, nearby service, and professional workshop equipment. The tremendous success we enjoyed in 2015 can be attributed to customer satisfaction. With 14.4 million euros in sales, RUTHMANN Service generated almost a million euros more than in 2014. Reason enough to continue with our service expansion programme in 2016. The specific details will be announced at the upcoming bauma 2016 trade show in Munich.”

RUTHMANN is about to unveil a couple of new innovations at bauma 2016. The company does not want to reveal too much before the trade show commences.
