RUTHMANN Service Expansion: up 55% in Gescher-Hochmoor

RUTHMANN has taken the ongoing investment programme in after-sales service to the next level. After doubling the capacity at the factory-owned service station in Seevetal (near Hamburg) at the end of 2014, RUTHMANN has now expanded the service area at its head office in Gescher Hochmoor, Germany by a whopping 500 sq. metres.

RUTHMANN now provides competent, multi-brand After-Sales Service on a total of 1,400 sq. metres of floor space.

The added space has created 5 additional service bays and is used primarily for UVV safety inspections and to carry out maintenance and repair work on 3.5 t and 7.49 t truck-mounted work platforms with unprecedented speed and efficiency.  Equipped with two 5 t cranes, the new hall is also able to accommodate larger work platforms.

Additional staff has also been recruited as a result of the service expansion. Two highly qualified mechanics will join Heinz-Gerd Decker – Service Station Manager in Gescher-Hochmoor – and his team to assist them with day to day operational activities.

RUTHMANN continues to address the growing demand in the Service division. Customer satisfaction will always be a top priority for the German manufacturer.

RUTHMANN has similar plans for all other company-owned service stations in Germany. The market-leading After-Sales Service is sure to satisfy customer needs and market requirements in quality and quantity for years to come.

Customer demand continues to rise due to the substantial increase in production output over the past several years and because of the increase in “multi-brand service”. This refers to maintenance and repair work being carried out on machinery made by other manufacturers.
