Construction machinery from SANY convinces. Using the latest technology, the company develops and manufactures products that are recognized worldwide for their quality and are improved through constant innovation. At the bauma trade fair in Munich, SANY will be showing a representative cross-section of its product range. Customers can rely on the high quality standards that SANY sets itself in the development and production of each machine. In-house steel processing and using proven key-components from international manufacturers are the basis for the high quality of each and every machine. In addition, they offer exceptionally comprehensive standard equipment and a high degree of operational reliability. The latter is ensured by the supply of spare parts through an extensive dealer network and by the optional 5-year warranty – and all this comes at an attractive price.

Success on a strong basis 

SANY Group is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of construction equipment, port equipment, and wind turbines. Worldwide sales increased by 26% to 24 billion euros in the fiscal year 2021. Almost 20% of the Group’s total revenue is now generated outside China. One reason for this in recent years – which have been difficult for the global economy as a whole – has been the ability to supply goods. Despite the restrictions imposed by the pandemic, SANY was able to largely maintain its supply chains to all markets thanks to its ability to adapt to changing market conditions quickly.

The innovative strength of the entire company also contributed to its success. Developments such as the electrically driven mini-excavator and reach stacker or the hydrogen-powered truck are just a few examples with which SANY is setting standards.

On course for growth in Europe

SANY Europe is also on a steady course of growth and has more than doubled its sales to 100 million euros, compared to last year. The key factors here are products and services that are precisely customized to the European market. SANY is responding to this upward trend with further investments in Europe. The focus is on a continuous expansion of the dealer network. Currently, around 100 qualified dealers support customers throughout Europe – more than 20 in Germany alone. Germany is also being further developed as a production location. Production of the telehandler for the US market has already started in Bedburg. Production for the European market will follow shortly, as will truck-mounted cranes. Another milestone is the lighthouse factory planned in Bedburg, which will bring additional production to Germany. With its high level of automation, the innovative production facility is designed for efficiency and flexibility, making it possible to respond individually to market requirements. With around 150 employees, the factory is designed to produce around 10,000 excavators. In addition, road construction machinery and cranes will also be included in the portfolio.

SANY keeps developing the construction machinery sector in Europe with new ideas

The great successes on the European markets are closely linked to the excellent adaptation of the machines to the specific requirements. All models are developed specifically for the European market, complying with all EU regulations and standards. With its own development department, the adaptation of the machines will in future be carried out directly on site with shorter distances and faster reaction times. Only recently, the first comprehensive development project with colleagues from China was completed. The new 200-tonne SY2000 mini-excavator has already entered the testing phase as a prototype – and the next cooperation projects are already underway.

A new addition to the service portfolio: SANY rental service

At four locations (Bedburg, Aichtal, Gründau, and Regensburg), a wide variety of machines, from mini excavators to heavy crawler excavators to wheel loaders are available, including the corresponding attachments. A customer-oriented pick-up and delivery service as well as mobile service on site provide construction companies with greater flexibility when it comes to compensating for order peaks or breakdowns in their own fleet. In addition to its own locations, SANY Europe supports all SANY dealers who are developing their own rental fleets. Furthermore, comprehensive cooperation projects have been established with leading machine rental companies, which currently have numerous machines already in use.

As part of the new, exciting trade fair stand concept, SANY invites the construction industry to get to know the SANY range. In the impressive trade fair building, the SANY experts will also be happy to answer any questions and provide detailed information. A total of 24 machines can be explored live in the areas of excavators, wheel loaders, telehandlers, handling machines, drilling rigs, rollers, motor graders, and cranes. The highlights are the electrically driven SY19E mini excavator, the new SW305 wheel-loader, and the STH1440 and STH1840 telehandlers, which have been completely new developed for Europe.

Road construction machines from SANY have already been in use successfully around the globe for many years. Now, they are also competing to convince road building companies in Europe. Specially adapted to the European market in terms of technology and equipment, the machines combine all the positive SANY characteristics that are already known from other product ranges: reliability, robustness, and a convincing price-performance ratio. As a first step, single drum rollers, tandem rollers and a grader will be presented at the bauma. 

SANY is also transferring its experience from international markets to Europe in the segment of cranes. In addition to a truck-mounted crane, an electrically driven crawler telescopic crane will also be on display in Munich.
