Satisfied exhibitors at CeMAT RUSSIA

The four-day run of CeMAT RUSSIA 2015 ended on Friday, 25 September, in Moscow. Exhibitors expressed satisfaction with the trade fair despite the tense economic situation. “At the moment, CeMAT RUSSIA is for us the most interesting intralogistics fair in Russia. As a provider of voice-guided logistics solutions, here is where we reach our exact target groups.  In Russia the logistics branch is one of the most interesting, so we currently see good conditions to expand our customer base in Russia,” said Andreas Finken from topsystem Systemhaus GmbH.

From 22 to 25 March, more than 200 companies from 28 countries presented at CeMAT RUSSIA their products and solutions for networked and efficient control of logistics processes. Exhibiting companies included Beumer, BITO, Clark, Continental, Hänel, Honeywell, Jungheinrich, Interroll, Kaup, KNAPP, Komatsu, Mitsubishi, SSI Schäfer, Still, Yale und viastore. “Many companies have been exhibiting at CeMAT RUSSIA since its 2010 premiere. They have helped the fair develop into an event that user industries and industry trade associations recognize as Russia’s leading intralogistics-business platform,” said Wolfgang Pech, senior vice president at Deutsche Messe.

Hamburg-based industrial-truck manufacturer Jungheinrich is one such company. “Especially in economically difficult times, it is important that a company like Jungheinrich shows continuity. Our expectations for this year’s fair have been fulfilled: exceptional talks with customers, very good leads and new business contracts,” summarized Luuk Snijders, general director at Jungheinrich Lift Truck OOO.

Markus Müllerschön, sales director at viastore SOFTWARE GmbH, was also satisfied: “Due to the economic situation in Russia, right now there is only minimal investment in plants and machinery. The focus is more on optimizing existing facilities with WMS, so we were able to establish or maintain numerous contacts at CeMAT RUSSIA.”

The accompanying CeMAT was once again a visitor magnet on the first three days of the fair. More than 600 visitors from the trade, automobile and chemical industries learned about the impact of current economic conditions on intralogistics in Russia. Topics included best practices in warehouse automation and low-cost warehouse modernization.

CeMAT RUSSIA 2015 hosted 4,368 visitors. CeMAT RUSSIA 2016 is scheduled for 20–22 September at the Crocus Expo Center in Moscow.

CeMAT RUSSIA is organized by Deutsche Messe AG subsidiary OOO Deutsche Messe RUS in partnership with the ITE Group Plc., a UK-based trade fair company with offices in eleven countries.
