SH 600 - Pneumatic seed drill for undersown crops

New pneumatic seed drill with 600 litre hopper for adaptation on stubble cultivation and tillage machines

The agricultural value of undersown crops has been well proved: retain nitrogen in the soil, maintain the porosity through the root system, limit erosion, limit weed emergence and also provide soil with organic matter. These significant benefits have driven KUHN to develop a new range of seed drills adaptable to stubble cultivation tools.

KUHN already offers on the whole stubble cultivation range, the seed drills SH 201 and 402, with capacities of 200 and 380 litres. Thanks to the electric or hydraulic blower drive, seeds are transferred to 8 discharge platers for even distribution over the whole width of the tool.

The new SH 600, is fitted with a 600 litre hopper to offer a longer operating autonomy by preventing successive reloadings. It also allows seeding on larger widths of up to 9 meters.

It is equipped with a Venta type volumetric metering unit with splines (1 to 430 kg/ha), which enables simple and fast proportional flow adjustment. The metering system allows seeding any type of seeds.

Seeding spacing varies from 25 to 35 cm according to the tool’s widths. They are managed by a distribution head (16, 20 or 24 outlets). The discharge plates provide even seed distribution between the soil preparation tools and the roller independently of the working width.

The renown Quantron S2 control box of the Venta seed drill range monitors, the electric application rate adjustment, metering unit start/stop anticipation, application rate adjustment assistant, electronic monitoring (seed level, blower speed, metering unit rotation)

Available for now on the PERFORMER, CULTIMER L 1000 and DISCOLANDER, the SH 600 will make you save time on your work.
