With the SILOKING SelfLine 4.0, SILOKING is presenting a new generation of modern, professional self-propelled vertical feed mixers, in which an intelligent mix of innovative new and tried and tested components are employed.

Efficient and structure-gentle milling head

SILOKING keeps relying on the well-proven combination of 2-meter wide milling head with 42 knives for gentle silo extraction and a perfectly designed conveying channel. It is almost at the center of the vehicle and its width of 70 cm offers the proven dimension for quick transport of the feed components

Optimal hopper geometry

The one thing that matters most while feeding: the well-being of your cows. Therefore, the structure of the feed and precise mixing must be prioritized. The size of the mixing hopper and the mixing auger are of great importance for a homogeneous mixing of the feed. And this is one of the strong characteristics of the SILOKING self-propelled.

Durable, low-wear engines

All SelfLine 4.0 model ranges are fitted with Volvo engines as standard. The model ranges SelfLine 4.0 Compact 1612 and Premium 2215 use 4-cylinder D5 engines that meet emission standard stage IV, with a cylinder capacity of 5.1 litres and power ranges of 105 to 160 kW (143 to 218 hp). They are characterised by high torque values of 710 to 910 Nm at low speed and the resulting low fuel consumption. The low vibration level of the large-capacity 4-cylinder engine ensures minimum wear and a long life. Added to this is the extremely easy maintenance since the standard engine oil has to be changed every 1,000 operating hours only. Compared to previous engine technology in feeding technology, this means twice as long maintenance intervals.

Economical hydraulic system

Another innovation is the technically sophisticated return filter system for the hydraulics produced by Bosch Rexroth. In the SelfLine 4.0 all components from the milling head to the mixing unit are driven hydraulically. The new system reduces the total demand for hydraulic oil by 20 %, which remains below 140 litres despite the large number of consumers. The new filter system with return filter means that the hydraulic oil is filtered in an optimal way. This results in maintenance intervals of 1,000 operating hours and a further reduction in running operating costs, also improved by the use of standard oil and filters.

Cooling is provided by a large single-face radiator. The radiator is designed for a power of 218 hp in all models, offering sufficient reserves.

A top-class workplace

For relaxed and comfortable working, the SelfLine 4.0 machines have a new, clearly designed and spacious cab with excellent all-round visibility and numerous comfort features. These include the standard airsuspended seat with integrated multi-functional armrest as well as the three-way adjustable steering column, the low cab entry with wide door and the automatic cabin lighting. The optimised windscreen angle ensures more space in the cabin and less dirt contamination, since dirt can no longer settle on the screen. Large wipers also ensure clear vision in the rain.

A roof panel made of tinted safety glass with simple grille collapsible without the need for tools increases working efficiency (improved view of the feed extraction) and driver safety (protection against falling material). The standard LED lighting strip in the roof grille also ensures optimum illumination of the main working area over a radius of 3 metres.

A high degree of operating comfort is ensured by the CAN-bus control system, which is directly integrated into the multi-functional armrest attached to the driver's seat. An intelligent smart button and joystick control assignment results in simple and intuitive control.

Maintenance of the cab functions is simple. For example, the filter for the air conditioning and the fuses can be accessed from outside with ease.

Independent wheel suspension for bad roads

For use on bad roads and for longer journeys, the SILOKING SelfLine 4.0 can be equipped with a newly developed independent wheel suspension (option) in the rear. The result: above-average smooth driving behaviour and impressive driving comfort.
