“Rental tough” site dumper design has ensured that Mecalac site dumpers have remained a long lasting and reliable part of your business.

SWITCH TO SAFETY

SHIELD TECHNOLOGY INSIDE

Innovation leads to safety. To ensure the safest site dumper on the market, Mecalac has developed an array of technology to ensure not only the safety of the operator but also those people working around the machine.

SHIELD is fitted as standard on all Mecalac dumpers from 6 to 9 tons (stage V), with the option to upgrade to SHIELD Pro.

Standard SHIELD includes features such as a start & drive interlock to ensure the operator is wearing his seatbelt before driving the machine. Stop-start and idle shut off feature make sure the machine is not left running for longer than required. This saves fuel and reduces operating hours, extending service intervals and maintaining residual value. SHIELD PRO includes features such as skip operation interlocks, safe working angle monitoring and adjustable speed limiting to further enhance the safety of the machine.

ACCESSIBILITY

Entering and exiting the machine is always safe due to the stair-like access.

Thanks to the large stair-like steps and full length grab rails the operator is able to access the machines with minimum effort and minimum risk.

MAKING MAINTENANCE EASY

Alongside boasting state-of-the-art product design and first-to-market technology innovation, all Mecalac site dumpers feature superb service access from ground level to ensure simple and quick routine equipment maintenance.

The chassis and engine canopies are designed to give maximum access to all service areas, while engine panels are mounted on heavy-duty, lockable hinges for added safety benefits.

HAZARD DETECTION

A robust solution to provide additional aid to operators of forward facing site dumpers. The system is designed to detect objects in front of the working machine which the operator may have missed.

SWITCH TO PERFORMANCE

POWER SWIVEL

Mecalac Power Swivel site dumpers are the ideal solution for more challenging jobs. Allowing the load to be rotated before being tipped, Power Swivel technology allows the operator to work within a confined site area.

With payload options ranging between two to nine metric tons, there’s a perfect Power Swivel model for every application. High quality slew ring bearings deliver smooth and effective operation – ensuring precise placement of loads.

HIGH DISCHARGE

Mecalac High Discharge site dumpers are designed to deliver superior versatility and performance when tipping over obstacles and into skips.

From 2,205-4,409lbs (1000-2000kg) payloads, each model has been developed for use in smaller sites– such as housing developments and landscaping projects. All models deliver an impressive height clearance of over 4’11” (1.5m), providing impressive results in confined spaces.

SWITCH TO MOBILITY

OFF ROAD MOBILITY

An articulated and oscillating chassis ensures excellent maneuverability and off-road capability.

All Mecalac site dumpers are designed with high ground clearance to enable operation on the roughest terrain. Permanent four-wheel drive and large oscillation angles ensure the wheels keep in contact with the ground and maintain traction in all conditions.

Large turning angles ensure the machines remain maneuverable so that access to difficult locations remains possible.

MDX SERIES

THE COMBINATION OF SAFETY AND DESIGN

With its expertise in practical innovation and common sense strategy, the R&D department has transformed the six and nine tons dumpers of the existing range by incorporating the added value that is a Mecalac strength: taking a fresh look at a machine that has become a staple on many jobsites.

How? By imagining a cab that “changes everything”, with no equivalent on the market and that fits perfectly into the existing design of the dumpers.

EXCELLENT ACCESS

Entering and exiting the machine is always safe due to the stair-like access: thanks to the large stair-like steps and full length grab rails the operator is able to access the cab with minimum effort and risk. The completely redesigned access system for the MDX site dumpers features large self-clearing steps organized like a staircase. The solid back plate significantly reduces the risk of material build up on the steps, increasing safety. With a full length handrail located on the A-pillar and a door-mounted handrail, three points of contact can be easily maintained when accessing the cab.

Available in both six and nine tons payloads (6MDX and 9MDX respectively), each model pairs stylish aesthetics with impressive operator functionality. Unparalleled integration of the cab within the ground up design, provides outstanding visibility, safety, simplicity and ease of operation.
