"Skilled Trades Meeting Point" at BAU 2013: Practical tips for day-to-day business

Again in 2013, the "Skilled Trades Meeting Point", introduced for the first time in 2011, will be a key gathering place at BAU for all those working in the skilled trades. Visitors to this approximately 300 m² area, located this time in Hall B0, can pick up all kinds of practical information specifically targeted at skilled trades businesses and lots of tips on how to get the most out of a visit to BAU 2013.

The "Skilled Trades Meeting Point" is being organized jointly by BAU in cooperation with the Poing Building Center. Putting on a presentation here, as supporting partners, are the Munich Building Center, the Holzmann media group and the roofing trades guild of Munich and Upper Bavaria. A coffee bar is being set up to encourage a relaxed, communicative atmosphere where people can exchange views or just take a break from the stress of the fair.

Experts will also be on hand at the Skilled Trades Meeting Point to pass on valuable tips and ideas on how to optimize day-to-day business. Visitors can choose between a wide variety of topics, ranging from social media and building law, to modern heating technology or thermal insulation for buildings. There is sure to be something for everybody. And for certain groups, e.g. roofers, carpenters and plumbers, there are even dedicated blocks of lectures.

The lectures – which are free of charge – are being organized by the partners participating in the Skilled Trades Meeting Point. The Munich Building Center is also putting on themed tours of the trade show for the skilled trades; these start each day from the Skilled Trades Meeting Point.
