Linamar Corporation’s Skyjack Division will bring its unrivaled line of aerial work platforms and after-sales solutions to Latin America’s largest construction and mining equipment event, the M&T EXPO 2015, in São Paulo, Brazil. The event celebrates its 20th anniversary this year and organizers expect to draw record crowds.
Highlights at the Skyjack booth include the world’s best-selling electric scissor, the SJIII 3219, along with SJIII 3226 and SJIII 4632. The articulating booms SJ46 AJ and SJ63 AJ will also be featured.
“Skyjack machines are widely recognized for being simply reliable and for offering an excellent return on investment,” said Rafael Bazzarella, sales manager and senior IPAF instructor at Skyjack in Brazil. “With rising energy costs around the world, Skyjack offers the smartest solutions both in terms of sustainability and innovation. Our machines are the perfect match for savvy entrepreneurs in Brazil, America Latina and beyond.”
Since officially setting foot in Brazil in 2011, Skyjack has established a large network of partners in the region. From its operations in Indaiatuba, São Paulo state, Skyjack strives to provide Latin American customers with highly dependable, low-maintenance aerial work platforms and unmatched support services.
“Our ongoing strategy includes increasing after-sales assistance; reducing parts and equipment delivery times; providing training in safety, service and sales; and offering financing options through partnerships with local banks,” said Adriano Battazza, Skyjack’s Latin America sales director. “We’re proud of what we have accomplished in the country and region so far, and we’re looking forward to the many years ahead. The best is yet to come for Skyjack in Brazil and Latin America.”
The M&T EXPO 2015 takes place from June 9-13, at the São Paulo Expo Exhibition & Convention Center.

Skyjack turns 30
Skyjack recently kicked off a yearlong celebration around its 30th business anniversary, at The American Rental Show in New Orleans, U.S. As part of the festivities, Skyjack launched 30 FOR 30 PARTNERS, a charitable campaign where the company will select 30 worthwhile projects and offer support.
Spread across five continents, the initiative will help organizations that would benefit from the use of Skyjack machines. Local Skyjack customers, such as a rental company, would help provide machines and support. Skyjack is offering to cover costs of up to $2,500 per project.
“We are grateful that our customers, communities and the industry have supported us consistently, allowing us to get where we are today – one of the world’s leading suppliers of access equipment,” said Brad Boehler, Skyjack’s president. “As such, we want to use the occasion to give something back. And the best way we can think to do this is via the company, the products and, most important, the customers that mean so much to us.”
