SOCAGE AT SAIE - BUILT ENVIRONMENT EXHIBITION 2014

The company Socage participates this year to the 50th edition of the SAIE exhibition for the construction industry, that is taking place as always in Bologna, from the 22nd to the 25th of October 2014. Socage will be there with some of its commercial partners, thus occupying a wide area (AREA 48, stand A97 and B95) with eight platforms and various new elements. The forSte 12A, already shown at the APEX fair last June, is the first demountable aerial platform without outriggers. Mounted on a pick-up vehicle, it has a maximum working height of 11,9 meters and a maximum outreach of 5 meters, with a load capacity of 225 kg. The outstanding element of the platform is the fact that no outriggers are required to use it – the forSte 12A can be easily mounted and dismounted from any vehicle with a minimum G.V.W. of 3 tons, and can be indeed seen as a non-permanent working equipment.

The forSte 37DJ has also been presented at the APEX exhibition. It is a double articulated platform with a final jib, able to perform a major number of movements compared to a simple double articulated one. With a working height of 37 meters, and an outreach of 23 meters, the forSte 37DJ can be settled on vehicles from 11 tons – despite its impressive performances, it still results a compact and comparatively small truck.

The DA324 forSte represents one of the warhorses of the company, since it is one of the most sold platforms both in the national as well as in the international market. The current model has a new kind of rotation of the basket, which means a fluid and fast way of working. With this new interesting element the double articulated of 24 meters becomes even more appealing for the market.

Another big colossus on a category C driving license: the forSte 39TJJ, the telescopic aerial platform with two final jibs has become a consolidated product of the company and will be once again shown at the fair. Mountable on a 18 tonne truck, it reaches a working height of 39 meters and an outreach of 30 meters.

The following three aerial platforms represent a new production line for the company the so-called “4” series. The forSte 28D, after being presented at the BAUMA fair in 2013 as the first 28 meters platform mounted on a 3.5 tons, is the first example: the new version, that many of you saw at the APEX fair last June, has a new patented sub-frame with a “X” shape, which gives various advantages both to the installer and to the user. The new series 4 has been created on the basis of this chassis, easily mountable without big changes on any truck – you’ll be able to see two examples of this series the T418 forSte and the DA422 forSte.

The last platforms represents an unquestionable success for the Socage, that with the forSte 75TJJ adds 5 more meters thus creating its highest platform, a telescopic with double jib: 75 meters high and40 meters outreach on a 32 tons truck.
