The latest IF and VF tyres for almost any application

Rising requirements in optimal land use and soil protection, as well as constantly-growing machine dimensions, have moved IF and/or VF technology strongly into the focus of farmers and contractors in recent years. As a result of this, this new tyre technology could establish itself on the market with a varied offering. In order to be able to reliably supply its customers with the IF tyre adapted exactly to the operation purpose, Bohnenkamp AG has a very broad IF-product-programme of the most varied brands in their current assortment.

The most modern tyre technology over 130 times

Bohnenkamp offers its customers more than 130 different tyres in total which are equipped with IF or VF technology. For IF tyres (Improved/Increased Flexion), the assortment covers 80 tyres with 11 different profiles of the Alliance, BKT, Firestone, Michelin and Trelleborg brands. The VF assortment (Very High Flexion) contains 53 tyres with 10 different profiles of the Alliance, BKT Bridgestone and Michelin brands.

IF and VF technology

Tyres with IF technology provide for particularly good soil protection with extremely high traction at the same time. They ensure the same load with up to 20% smaller filling pressure or vice versa: with continuous filling pressure they offer 20% more load-carrying capacity than comparable tyres without IF technology. With “Very High Flexion” technology (VF), these values are again increased up to 40%. In connection with lowered air pressure and the clearly larger road-contact area compared to standard tyres, the ground pressure will become altogether lowered and pressure peaks are avoided. At the same time there are more lugs in the soil contact, so one obtains an altogether higher efficiency during cultivation by lowered fuel consumption with simultaneously increased work performance through better traction power transmission and/or higher traction values.

Four good examples

At Agritechnica, Bohnenkamp showed the variety and possibilities of this ultra-modern tyre technology with the example of the partner brands Alliance and BKT, which unite high-level technology with the newest conditions with a price-performance-ratio unique in this sector.

With the Alliance Agriflex 372 size IF 800/70 R 38 CFO, Bohnenkamp presents a tyre which is suitable both for tractors in higher usage (from approx. 220 HP), and on harvesting machines in cyclic field operation (CFO=Cyclic Field Operation). Furthermore, it offers outstanding “on-road”- comfort and is suitable for high speeds.

The BKT Agrimax Force size IF 900/60 R 38 was especially developed for tractors of the high performance class from approx. 250 HP. It unites all the advantages of IF technology in a high performance total package.

The BKT Agrimax Teris size IF 580/80 R 34 CFO is especially for usage on harvesting machines and self-drivers for the nutrient yield. It is suitable for cyclic field operation and also has side panel treads which protect the tyre against damage.

The new radial tyre BKT Agrimax Sirio H.S. size IF 600/70 R 30 is aimed at tractors of the performance class over 250 HP. Thanks to its load/speed index of 162E, it permits high load-carrying capacities of 4,750 kg at speeds up to 70 km/h. Furthermore, it offers high travelling comfort with its flexible side panel.
