Sales of space for exhibitors at the recycling aktiv and TiefbauLive trade fair began in mid May, and now Karlsruher Messe- und Kongress-GmbH must already make additional space available on the exterior area. Britta Wirtz, the trade fair’s director, says: “Speedy sales of space on the outdoor area show us that the concept of the double fair perfectly fits exhibitors’ expectations.”
Only three areas remain to be booked: afterwards, the planned gross total of 63,000 square meters on the outdoor area will be completely occupied.
The outdoor area doesn’t only includes spaces for exhibitors, who must choose between a demo area and a purely static stand area without the opportunity to demonstrate machines in operation. It also offers action areas: these include, for example, the “Exemplary Site for Canal Construction”, the “Exemplary Site for Road Building”, and the “Mobile Scrap and Metals Yard”.
Key players have already booked
René Perne, sales manager at bei HAAS Recycling Systems Holzzerkleinerungs- und Fördertechnik GmbH, has already reserved a static space in the outdoor area for his company. Perne explains: “We weren’t represented at the previous recycling aktiv fair. But we want to give the concept and the new location a chance in 2017 so we can appeal to attractive target groups in southwestern Germany.” HAAS, which is the leading manufacturer and supplier of mobile and turnkey old-wood and waste-recycling facilities, is also participating in the newly created “Wood and Biomass” action area, where it presents the TYRON 2.0 primary crusher and innovative sifting technology in action.
Other companies in the recycling business that have already booked spaces for their stands include Komptech, which offers its technology internationally from its headquarters in Frohnleiten (Austria), the ARJES GmbH from Leimbach, and the ROTAR International B.V. from Genemuiden (Netherlands), which manufactures accessory equipment.
The Wirtgen Group will present itself on nearly 800 square meters in the outdoor area. Covering the complete process chain in road construction with the technologies of its product brands Wirtgen, Vögele, Hamm, Kleemann and Benninghoven, this group of companies focuses in Karlsruhe on its Mineral Technologies business field. For example, Kleemann presents mobile crushing and sifting solutions for the efficient processing of recycling materials. Benninghoven, which manufactures asphalt mixers, shows its granulator, which gently breaks down old asphalt into its original components without destroying the grain structure or producing any additional fine particles. This makes it possible for an asphalt mixer to reuse nearly 100% of the old asphalt. Kleemann’s marketing director Mark Hezinger explains: “The concept of the recycling aktiv trade fair fits very well for us to present our material-processing technologies. Industry professionals in Karlsruhe can acquire up-close experience of our solutions for the commercial use of recycling materials.”
Regular floor space in the hall rather than in pavilions
Exhibitors that were housed in non-air conditioned pavilions in 2015 can now book space in Karlsruhe Trade Fair’s Hall 2, which is outstandingly well connected to the outdoor area. Plans call for Hall 2 to offer a gross total of 4,000 square meters of area. Thirty square meters here have already been reserved by Willibrord Lösing Filtertechnik from Hattingen, which offers a product portfolio that includes oil, air, fuel and hydraulic filters for mobile und stationary applications, as well as special product areas such as protective ventilation systems for road-construction and waste-dump vehicles.
Attractive early-booker conditions for all areas end on 15 November 2016.
