Valme – an international player in the design and manufacture of concrete distribution piping and accessories – will be at Bauma (stand FS 905/2) with a various products, including the fully hydraulic BV 13 concrete distribution boom. It is a good solution for casting in small areas that are difficult to reach or where there are limitations that do not allow the use of truck pumps. The standard equipment includes:

  • 5.5" pipes readily comp atible with the most commonly used pumping systems, and a 3-metre end hose

  • A power unit with 7.5 kW electric motor

  • An electric panel suitable for the most common networks

  • Remote control

Valme is, above all, a technology partner in the design and implementation of tailor-made solutions for the distribution of concrete and conveying of abrasive material, and carries out every stage of the process from the feasibility study to production of the equipment. Valme's offer in the global market falls within the following areas:

  • Double layer piping

  • Equipment such as valves, diverters and joints

  • Standard and custom made placing booms for construction and prefabrication sites

  • Design of pipeline lines and solutions for conveying abrasive materials, primarily concrete.

Valme, with its recent acquisition of Pamec, has expanded and developed its product range to compete in the international market as a supplier of concrete distribution systems. The General Manager Fabio Degli Angeli said:

"The goal in the next three to five years is to continue the process of internationalisation, which started with the opening of a subsidiary in the United States, to invest in research and innovation and thereby increase the quality and performance of our products, and to draw on our many years of know-how to support our customers in the implementation of complex projects. Every construction site (or mining site or prefabrication company) has different needs, and in many cases innovative solutions have to be devised within set time frames while offering great flexibility in terms of design and production. And this, to gether with the integration of the entire production process, is the added value of Valme."

Once designed, the products are manufactured in the two factories in Italy, where they are moulded and tempered, and then welded, machined and painted, and subjected to quality control.
