Systematics scoop two regional awards

Specialist data collection company Systematics International Limited is celebrating after winning two prestigious awards at the Essex Countywide Business Awards 2014.

The company, which is based in Battlesbridge, Essex, won the Business 2 Business category, while Chief Executive Christine Bhatt was named as the Businesswoman of the Year 2014.

The firm received their awards at the awards ceremony which took place at the Cliffs Pavilion in Southend on 9 May 2014.

The awards follow on from the firm’s success at the Basildon Business Awards last year, and are even more prestigious as they were open to businesses across the county.

Christine said: “To win these two awards is a great honour for both myself and the company.

“At Systematics, we place a great deal of emphasis on delivering high levels of service to all our clients, so we are delighted that our hard work has been recognised in this way.

“Personally I am extremely proud to have been named Businesswoman of the Year, however I wouldn’t have been able to achieve this success without the support of my colleagues at the firm and my husband Manuel.”

Systematics collects market data for manufacturers of agricultural, construction, material handling and mobile crane equipment all over the world, with high profile clients including CNH, Same Deutz Fahr, Liebherr and Terex.

Systematics is run by Christine and her husband, Manuel, who is the firm’s Chief Finance and Strategic Planning Officer. The company, which specialised in processing UK agricultural registration data, can trace its roots back to 1972, with Christine joining as Business Development Manager in 2000, being promoted to Managing Director three years later after successfully doubling the company’s turnover. Christine led a successful management buyout of Systematics in 2007, when its parent company, Metal Bulletin (MB) Group, was taken over by an international publishing group which wanted to focus on different core business activities.
