Celebrating its 150th anniversary this year, the Balmoral Show takes place between May 16th-19th. The landmark event is being held at the Eikon Exhibition Centre in Balmoral Park, the country’s largest exhibition space. One of the many exhibitors at the show will be Sleator Plant, Terex Trucks’ official dealer for Northern Ireland. The company, which has been a Terex Trucks dealer since 2015, will proudly exhibit the TA400 articulated hauler on its stand.

“In a culture where a ‘no nonsense’ mindset serves productivity, Terex Trucks’ simple and honest approach to hauling has proven to be very popular among our customers,” says Bill Henderson, Sales Manager at Sleator Plant. “The Terex Trucks name has become synonymous with reliability, seeing customers returning back to these machines time and time again. Our customers in Northern Ireland use the TA400 for hauling excavated rock, moving processed materials and removing overburden. In some cases, the TA400 articulated haulers have augmented or even replaced rigid truck operations in the region. The TA400’s ability to effectively traverse established haul roads quickly, even in adverse conditions, combined with its generic flexibility, means increased productivity for the customer.”

High-capacity hauling

“When we exhibited at the Balmoral Show last year, we had Terex Trucks’ TA300 on our stand – that was the first time a Gen10 machine had ever been on display in Northern Ireland,” says Jonathan Campbell, General Manager at Sleator Plant. “We’re excited to be representing Terex Trucks at the show again this year. This time, we’re bringing the TA400 – the ideal hauling solution for customers who need even more power and capacity. This machine is perfectly suited to the Northern Irish construction industry.”

Designed to meet the demands of the most extreme operations, the 38-tonne Terex Trucks TA400 offers a heaped capacity of 23.3 m³, 331 kW of gross power and a maximum torque of 2,255Nm. The TA400 is not only built for heavy-duty applications, but for operator comfort, too. Adjustable armrests, an efficient HVAC system and heated seats are just some of the features that help to make the TA400 one of the most comfortable articulated haulers on the market.
