König Bau GmbH, headquartered in Kesselsdorf, Saxony, specializes in structural engineering and special civil engineering. The company has been relying on a new SENNEBOGEN telescopic crawler crane for the diverse hoisting and loading tasks required at various construction sites since September 2015. The machine, delivered by sales and service partner Tecklenborg Baumaschinen, boasts top transportability and extreme flexibility, even in tight spaces.

Alternative to a stationary crane: flexibility is the clincher

The first job of the SENNEBOGEN 643 was at the site of a new bridge to Hohenleipisch. Thanks to the continuously telescoping, 30 m Full Power boom, the formwork elements were placed with precision. At the same time, the machine also boasts maximum maneuverability thanks to its crawler tracks, allowing it to shunt and travel even under load. For the operator, not only the flexibility, but also the high stability and ability to operate the crane remotely are the major advantages versus conventional, stationary cranes. Thanks to its compact dimensions of just 9.7 m in length and 3.0 m in width when the undercarriage is retracted, the machine can be easily transported, allowing it to be moved quickly.
