TF 1512 front hopper: Versatile and connected

The TF 1512 front hopper joins the KUHN range of front hoppers. It couples to seed drills, precision seed drills and soil preparation tools making it the versatile seeding solution: one unique hopper with many functions for seeding, fertilisation and planting cover crops.

Metering is by VENTA fluted volumetric metering unit which is capable of distributing both seeds and fertiliser with no additional equipment. It has an electrical drive system which makes it possible to modulate application rate during operations, either manually or with a prescription map.

This new front hopper is available in QUANTRON S2 version or ISOBUS version, with or without terminal. In this version, it is AEF certified for the UT, TC Bas and TC SC functions.

Settings have been simplified with a calibration button near the metering unit to start the flow test sequence without having to climb into the tractor cab: time savings and user comfort. Storage compartments have also been added to keep the calibration bag in (among other things).

The TF 1512 adapts to operating conditions; it can be coupled to a front packer with wheels to press the soil down in between the tractor wheels, or to a support frame when no tamping is necessary. In both cases it is possible to add weights for improved tractor-tool balance. Two hopper capacities are available: 1,500l and 2,000l.
