Thailand – HAMMEL has entered the Thai market with wood and scrap metal shredding equipment

In July of 2013, a complete HAMMEL- recycling plant configured for the shredding of rubber tree root stems was installed in Thailand. Consisting of two HAMMEL- primary shredder type VB 850 E and two HAMMEL- secondary shredder type NZS 700 E, the plant serves the purpose of power and energy generation. 

Following that project, we have now delivered the first HAMMEL- shredder to be used in the area of scrap metal shredding to Thailand. The HAMMEL-shredder type VB 950 E - RED GIANT was put into operation in Bangkok. 

The powerful HAMMEL- shredder VB 950 E is particularly suited for the shredding of bulky materials such as wood and metal. Hence, it is perfectly suitable for the shredding of metal scrap. The RED GIANT stands out thanks to a high throughput, user-friendly handling and minimal operational noise. 

The HAMMEL-Team was on-site in Thailand where they successfully undertook the commissioning of the machine. This VB 950 E is mostly used for shredding metal scrap which is being melted immediately after. Thus, the customer can efficiently shred the material and further process it.
