The Kverneland Turbo: the cultivator for all seasons in mounted version!

Versatility and strong performance for the best productivity

After the successful launch of the trailed version in 6.5m and 8m, Kverneland completes the offering with the mounted versions with 5 models, the 3.00m and 3.50m rigid and the 4m, 5m and 6m fold.

The Turbo can be used in all seasons, for operation from 3cm down to 20cm deep: in spring for opening the soil after the winter time (air drying up) or destroying grassland, in summer for stubbling (first pass or second pass), and in autumn/winter for seedbed preparation before seeding/planting.

The Turbo has been designed as a versatile implement that is essential for all operations without making a pan! It can replace multiple machines on the farm like the seedbed harrow thanks to its narrow tine pitch, and also stubble cultivators by dint of strong tine capacity and high under beam clearance of 725mm. “With the Turbo, you work wide and optimise the tractor horse power, maximising the output at lower costs,” explains Guillaume Hulin, plant manager of Kverneland Group Les Landes Génusson.

4 rows of tines and low lifting requirement

The design of the machine is compact to suit all tractors with low lifting capacity. That is the reason why the tines have been staggered on 4 rows (versus 5 rows on the trailed machine).

To make the Turbo as compact as possible, the first row and the last row of tines have been placed directly on the frame box sections.

A regular pitch of 19cm tine distance is maintained across the working width for a fluent soil flow throughout the machine.

The 3m Turbo is equipped with levelling tines and cage roller and only requires 2.4T lifting capacity.

Strong and robust frame

All frames have been performed by FEM (Finite Element Method) calculation to comply with the road transport shakes at 40 km/h but also to suit to the heaviest roller like the Actipack.
