With the MDS ISOBUS, RAUCH is launching a new generation of fertiliser spreaders that communicate openly, regulate precisely and integrate flexibly into existing machine fleets – without any system limitations. Instead of rigid technology, RAUCH relies on modular intelligence that is geared towards everyday work and makes the single-chamber design even more efficient and precise. The result is a spreading system that goes far beyond simple ISOBUS compatibility and thus offers real added value in practice.

The MDS ISOBUS system can be operated either directly via the tractor's ISOBUS terminal or via an external CCI terminal. This openness allows farmers and contractors to easily integrate it into existing machine fleets, regardless of the tractor manufacturer. The user interface is intuitively designed and, despite its high density of functions, ensures quick familiarisation and safe operation.

RAUCH offers the MDS ISOBUS in two versions: Q and W. The MDS Q ISOBUS version uses a driving speed-dependent control system for the spread rate. A calibration test is required to determine the flow factor of the fertiliser used; this can be conveniently carried out via the ISOBUS terminal. The MDS Q version is ideal for users who value high precision and transparent operation.

The MDS W ISOBUS version goes one step further. Here, a weighing frame takes over the automatic and continuous control of the application rate. This eliminates the need for calibration tests, saving time and minimising potential sources of error. This technology offers a clear efficiency gain, especially for farms with varying fertiliser types and qualities.

Users can achieve full system integration in combination with the CCI 800 or CCI 1200 terminals. In addition to classic UT operation, these also offer activations for section control (automatic section switching), parallel tracking (GPS-supported track guidance) and the task controller for job documentation. Speed signals are recorded via GPS receivers, ensuring precise application at all times, even on changing terrain or at variable working speeds.

A real highlight is the option to use the MDS ISOBUS on tractors without a factory-fitted ISOBUS wiring harness. The system can be easily connected via a simple 3-pin 12-volt power supply (Cobo) and a 7-pin signal socket for the driving speed signal (ISO11786). In combination with the new compact CCI 60 terminal, this ISOBUS Lite package also gives smaller or older tractors access to the digital application world – albeit with reduced functionality without task controller, section control or GPS connection.

The concept is rounded off by additional automation functions such as automatic headland management and section control, which intelligently control the spreader and relieve the driver of specific tasks. The MDS ISOBUS therefore not only stands for digital precision, but also for added comfort and efficiency in everyday use.

With the MDS ISOBUS, RAUCH impressively demonstrates how consistent further development, open interfaces and high practicality can be combined in one system, and is also introducing these functions for machines that are successfully marketed in smaller businesses. The result is a solution that not only keeps pace with digitalisation, but also actively shapes it.
