To mark the company's anniversary celebrations, as well as this year's upcoming Agritechnica trade show, FELLA is setting high standards with the start of series production of its new large-area rake.
Faster work rate with consistently clean raking quality and a large working width. And there's more - the fully redeveloped and redesigned JURAS 14055 PRO is equipped with the innovative FELLA proCONNECT ISOBUS system and a range of sophisticated and detailed features. It offers an unrivalled working width of up to 14.00 m and a swath width of up to 2.60 m, and a clever overall design that includes all this at a transport height of less than 4 metres.
FELLA proCONNECT sets standards in cutting power, quality of forage, and ease of use
As a core technology of the new-generation large rakes, the proCONNECT ISOBUS system is also used in the JURAS 14055 PRO. The integrated management system comprises three main functions and provides the driver with improved networking and usability.
FELLA flexHIGH – speed-dependent raking height adjustment ensures that the swath tines are always in the correct position. It regulates the increasing distance from the tines to the ground resulting from the greater resistance from the forage at higher speeds, and lifts all four rotors above the set raking height when at a standstill. The intelligent system thereby effectively prevents the loss of forage at higher speeds and forage contamination when stopping.
FELLA gapControl continually monitors the overlapping of the front and rear rotors, thus enabling efficient utilisation of the optimum working width. On the terminal, the driver has a constant overview of the current overlap, can control each rotor individually, and receives a warning tone when the end of the critical area is reached, enabling them to react quickly on trips with a lot of turns, for example.
FELLA myMEMORY is the "memory" of the new FELLA ISOBUS rake class. A wide range of settings including the swath width, rake height, and transport position are saved and automatically retrieved on unfolding. This reduces set-up times when changing fields, and minimises operating errors.
What's more, all functions, such as rake height adjustment with automatic adjustment of all rotors to the setting of one front rotor, as well as operating the single lift of the rotor, can be performed from the terminal and programmed on the joystick.
Added comfort and efficiency on road and field
With its hydraulic chassis axle and stable central tubular frame with new geometry, the transport height of the JURAS 14055 PRO comes in below 4 m (without final tine disassembly).
Equipped with 550/45-22.5 flotation tyres, the machine is always firmly on the ground. In combination with the lifting arms with spring relief on the front rotors, these reduce the contact pressure and minimise the impact on the soil. The continually optimized ground adaptation and forage pickup without loss are ensured in particular by the rear 6-wheel rotor chassis with two steerable front wheels and 5 double tines, together with the patented fully cardanic hitch attachment.
The JURAS 14055 PRO is also equipped with innovative sequential control. It is adjusted electronically via the time or position signals of the tractor, and can be adjusted individually from the tractor seat. The tried-and-tested jet effect system reliably prevents the tines from penetrating the ground during lifting and lowering.
