Third China-Eurasia Expo Concluded SANY Heavy Industry’s Attendance a Big Success

The 6-day Third China Eurasia Expo held in China’s North-Western province of Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region came to a successful conclusion on September 7. SANY Heavy Industry attended the fair and brought home intentional orders worth 150 million yuan. In addition, the company achieved a breakthrough in spare parts sales, securing intentional orders worth 2 million yuan. Over 300,000 spectators entered the Expo’s venue and some 40,000 of them visited SANY’s booth to view the performances and strike deals.

Local and national media gave generous coverage of SANY’s attendance at the fair. Hong Li, a journalist from Xinjiang Daily commented, “SANY’s booth presented a first class heavy machinery manufacturer in China, whose products have compelled even layman like me to stop and admire.”

Pala Tahong, a local customer, said that they started to notice SANY Heavy Industry since it attended the first China-Eurasia Expo and currently they were in the middle of striking a purchasing deal with SANY. “I left Kashi to attend the fair as soon as I learned that SANY was coming with products from its concrete pumping, rotary drilling rigs, heavy cranes, and road machinery business units, as well as spare parts for eight categories of its products,” said Pala Tahong.

At SANY’s booth, a white concrete mixer truck was eye-catching. It was produced in the company’s Xinjiang base after its Xinjiang branch was opened in 2011. Currently the Xinjiang subsidiary makes concrete pumps, concrete mixer trucks, excavators, and cranes.

According to Hui Zhao, head of SANY Group’s Events Department, the company sold two units of road machinery on the first day of the Expo. “As of September 6, we received intentional orders in the neighborhood of RMB 150 million. A breakthrough has been achieved in spare parts sales, which is close to RMB 2 million.”
