Top performer on pavements

Kärcher will be showing at GaLaBau 2014 the "Erlkönig" of a highly versatile municipal sweeper in the one cubic metre class. This all-wheel drive machine with articulated steering is very operator and service friendly and is designed for year-round use. This sweeper can be converted for winter service or mowing within a few minutes without tools – enabling this machine to be used to full capacity. Thanks to a modular system, most of the essential assemblies of the basic unit are identical with the MIC 50 implement carrier launched last year. This provides significant advantages for service, spare parts availability and the processes in fleet management. When fully laden, the weight of this new municipal sweeper is still below the permissible limit of 3.5 t, making it suitable for cleaning pavements according to Road Traffic Regulations. A further special feature is the cab with space for two people and a panorama view offering safety for the driver and environment. The machine will be available at the beginning of the new year 2015.
