Training course of proper and safe use of Palazzani aerial platform

Before deliverying a new Palazzani aerial platform, a training course to the customer or Dealer staff is always recommended by the manufacturer, in order to transmit the basic knowledge of the machine proper use.

2 to 3 days training are sufficient to give a basic introduction of the machine, a demonstration of the unit and a final test by the user with the simulation of the most frequent cases and troubleshooting.

In some special cases the course is held at customer's site, upon the Dealer request, however, it is preferably attended at Palazzani Industrie headquarters in Italy, where the customer/Dealer has the possibility to receive education also on other models available in the facility, further than on its ordered unit.

The main topics treated in the course are:

- Platform use in normal and special conditions

- Platform transferring and aerial work use

- In case of expert customer who already knows Palazzani platforms, also the hydraulic and electric diagrams are shown

- Emergency maneuvers

- Machine test and simulation of the main activities the customer will perform with the platform. If the course is held at customer’s           site, the machine will be possibly used directly on the job site

The latest training course at Palazzani headquarter was attended by the Italian Company Fiammengo Federico SrL, following the purchase of their first aerial platform Palazzani RAGNO XTJ 32/C, equipped with hydraulic winch with 500 kg.

RAGNO XTJ 32 / C, with 32 meters high and 14 meters outreach, is a very fast model both in transfering on rough terrain (4 km / h max) and in aerial movements. Supplied with bi-energy execution, it is supplied with 20 kW diesel engine and electric motor, to operate outdoor and indoor. The dimensions in transfer phase are extremely stowed, to pass through very narrow spaces: 198 cm high and 140 cm wide.

Automatic set-up with one only operation, allowing the machine to be placed in less than 3 m sites and on important slopes. 5 sections boom, allows agile and precise movements at any height. The upper telescopic jib, with an about5.50 meters outreach, is useful to overcome obstacles at high altitude. The turret rotation is continuous in both directions, whichever position of the stabilizers is, and the cage is rotating at 90 ° + 80 °.
