Transbotics implemented an Automated Guided Cart system designed to carry sub assembly parts in a subassembly line in a single guide path loop. This system takes the place of a typical assembly line conveyor. Unlike the typical assembly line conveyor, which if it needs repair/maintenance, the whole line would be stopped, the Automated Guided Cart system would not. The benefit of this system is that if a vehicle needs to be taken out of the system, the assembly line will not shut down because the remaining vehicles can still run in the loop. The guide path measures a 150 M. On the path, the specific stations are:

  • Home Station

  • Twelve (12) Stations

  • Four (4) Buffer Stations

  • Battery Charging Location/Station

Transbotics’ Carry Vehicle Solution consists of sixteen (16) guided vehicles. The vehicles are capable of carrying 500Kgs. The system utilizes the latest in non-contact safety features including programmable safety bumpers. The system is also designed for expandability, as any extra vehicles could be quickly put into the loop without any downtime.
