Alimak is launching the Vectio 350 transport platform range this year. It is an upgrade of the TPL transport platform range with several enhanced features to improve safety, efficiency, and comfort at compact construction sites.

The new successor, Alimak Vectio 350, has received a face-lift in design and several feature improvements. It is designed to provide customers with a competitive edge for compact building projects with lighter load requirements and restricted spaces.

Its flexible, robust, and simple design makes it ideal for all vertical access needs, including direct-to buildings and scaffoldings, for new construction or refurbishment work. The range includes six unique models with payload capacities varying from 500 kg to 2,000 kg.

Each model has dual functionality and by operating a simple changeover key switch on the electric control panel, and fitting the roof section, they can be used both as a transport platform at the speed of 12 m/min or a material hoist at a speed of 24 m/min.

Smart driving mode enables operation in both transport platform and material hoist modes resulting in enhanced productivity. This means that if the machine operator leaves the platform, the system automatically switches to material hoist mode with faster speed and allowing the machine to be called from the landings.

The new Vectio 350 transport platform conforms to the latest safety standards and features an overload protection device and over speed safety device which not only ensures the operator’s safety but also prolongs the machine’s working life. • An automatic rack lubricator reduces maintenance and prolongs the life of the traction components.
