Versatile, mobile, economical

Kärcher has added a compact, manoeuvrable implement carrier to its product portfolio. The universal MIC 26 C comes in two versions, with or without a cab and with the additional option of air conditioning. It can be used for both summer and winter service. Its fields of application are geared to the gardening and landscaping requirements of, for example, building services and municipal services providers.

It can be fitted with mowers in several working widths and with a mulching function and broom for removing weeds from alongside roads and paths. The MIC 26 C is equally versatile in winter service. It takes disc and roller spreaders for gritting, or a front sweeper roller for clearing powdery snow. Depending on local conditions, a snow blade, spring-loaded snow blade or a V blade can be used to clear wet or deep snow.

There is an exceptionally wide range of optional accessories for surface cleaning. Equipped with a full sweeper unit consisting of brush system, suction mouth and dirt container, the MIC 26 C becomes a fully fledged vacuum sweeper that can sweep an area of 14,000 m² an hour. Water can be sprinkled to reduce the amount of dust stirred up during operation. A further optional extension is for preparing or installing a pressure washer for wet cleaning of road surfaces, machinery or tools. Thanks to a quick-change system, all attachments can be fitted without the need for tolls and without much effort.

This very compact vehicle has articulated steering, so its internal turning circle is just 75 cm, which makes working in narrow streets and pathways significantly easier. A four-wheel drive and a 26 horse power diesel engine ensure agile handling, an ability ot climb gradients of up to 25 per cent and mobility even on uneven ground. The implement carrier runs for more than 10 hours on one 37-litre tank of fuel.

The open driver’s platform provides a very good view of the attachment kits and the surroundings. A roller bar enhances the operator’s safety and can be folded down, e.g. for moving the machine easily onto a trailer. Another practical feature is that the MIC 26 C is fitted as standard with two separate hydraulic circuits (with 40- and 12-litre capacities) for operating attachments. Appropriate connector points are fitted to the front of the vehicle, which has an additional connector for the second hydraulic circuit at the rear.

The implement carrier’s modular design permits many individual configurations tailored precisely to customers’ requirements. All accessories and attachment kits can be retrofitted at a later date.
