  • Strautmann has expanded its "Professional" series with the Verti-Mix "Double Professional," a compact 2-auger fodder mixing wagon.

  • The Verti-Mix "Double Professional" features a shortened chassis and a 3-point weighing system for precise fodder component measurement.

  • Enhanced fodder discharge is achieved through enlarged lateral discharge gates, Denmark gates, and a rear crossover conveyor.

  • The machine's design includes a revised front unit for reduced distance between the drawbar lug and the container, improving compactness and maneuverability.

  • The Verti-Mix "Double Professional" utilizes the Strautmann IMS mixing auger for fast, homogeneous mixing and offers various equipment options for operational customization.

  • Four new models in the Verti-Mix "Double Professional" series range from 11.5 m3 to 24.5 m3 capacity, with machine heights starting at 2.39 m, available for purchase immediately.

With the Verti-Mix "Double Professional", Strautmann extends the "Professional" series. The new mixing wagon represents a special design of the proven Verti-Mix Expert generation from Verti-Mix 1501 Double to Verti-Mix 3101 Double. The machine excels by a shortened chassis and a 3-point weighing system. Furthermore, the main focus is on even better fodder discharge by means of the lateral discharge gates, which have been enlarged by another 100 mm.

The basic idea behind the redesign of this machine was to create an even more compact and more clearly designed machine that could withstand the daily demands of agricultural enterprises. The front unit consisting of drawbar, hydraulic protective box and frame front part has been completely revised. Thus, the distance between the drawbar lug and the container could be noticeably reduced compared to the current generation.

The frame concept is a unit consisting of container and frame. In the future, three weighing rods will ensure weighing of the fodder components to the kilogramme. The three-point weighing system offers the advantage that the weighing rods always indicate a firm state and thus a stable weight, even in rough terrain. Due to this new shortened chassis concept, the machine is even more manoeuvrable than the predecessor model, thus making it suitable for even more flexible use. The use of hydraulic lines instead of hydraulic hoses noticeably rounds off the compact machine appearance.

Fodder can be discharged via the perfectly positioned side gates, via Denmark gates and a rear crossover conveyor.

As on all other fodder mixing wagons, the Strautmann IMS mixing auger proven in use and enabling fast, homogeneous and easy mixing and adaptation to the individual operational requirements due to different equipment options, is used here as well.

The new Strautmann Verti-Mix Double Professional machine series will comprise four new machine models in total with a capacity from 11.5 m3 to a maximum of 24.5 m3. The machines will be available as of now from a machine height of 2.39 m.
