A brand new name is appearing at the 2016 BAUMA Show in Munich on 11-17th April. The company is called VMSSG and they are part of the FuelDefend Global (FDG) group of companies. The name stands for Vehicle & Machinery Safety & Security Group and they are exhibiting a range of equipment at the show. The company is well known in the Commercial Vehicle markets with its range of fuel antisiphons and now the VMSSG range of, FORs compliant, vehicle turning and reverse alarms and also complimentary camera systems designed to give single camera to 360 degree all round views. VMSSG's philosophy is simple - keep the product range affordable and easy to understand. The products can be purchased individually or put together as tailored bundles as per the operator requirements.
The brand new ULTRAPlus+ antisiphon range will be available to view. These have been sold across the world thru major OEMs such as Scania and DAF and also into the Plant/Machinery sector with JCB. "Fuel theft is on the rise and continues to be a headache for operators. We believe that this crime is rife on building sites, depots and other areas where diggers, excavators are operating" says Geoff Reyner, VMSSG Sales Director, "we have seen a large increase in requests from the Plant/Machinery sector and it is our belief that we have the product range to satisfy this demand" The ULTRAPlus+ is available for Caterpiller, Komatsu, John Deere and many other well know industry brands. Fuel is 35% of a vehicles costs - PROTECT IT!!
VMSSG have been selling the Sidewarn and Backminder vehicle turning/reversing alarm systems for a while and have seen an increase in interest from the Plant industry. The ultrasonic technology that has been fitted by hard pressed truck operators is now available for all sectors where accidents and insurance claims are a major headache. Geoff Reyner says "Blind spots have seen fatalities increase not just in our streets with cyclists and pedestrians but also in depots and on building sites. The driver simply needs these systems to help him work safely and avoid these terrible tragedies" The good news for the German markets is that VMSSG have appointed DAF dealer TVS of Westerkappeln near Osnabruck as their first German dealer, they have been fitting and re-ordering systems for their customers. "It is marvellous to have this presence in the German market with such a quality dealer as TVS. Their installation knowledge and facilities are second to none" states Reyner.
To complement the above Sidewarn and Backminder systems - VMSSG have a range of cameras for all budgets and needs - from single dash mounted cameras to record accidents to side mounted and rear mounted cameras. These can be linked into DVR systems with GPS for complete peace of mind recording. Also VMSSG have just release a 360 degree all round view camera system - very cost effective and some of the best prices on the market. "Operator choice is what matters in the Plant sector, we don’t want people paying for systems or equipment they don’t need. We believe in the keep it simple philosophy and don’t want to bombard our customers with 100s of options" says Geoff Reyner "BAUMA will give us the chance to get some tremendous feedback from the market and also build awareness with some new customers. We are keen to speak to other potential dealers across Europe and the world and can offer some very attractive dealer opportunities. I will be there at the show for all the days and look forward to meeting you there"
