The electrically operated dumper DT10e will be unveiled at Intermat 2015. ECO products that are characterized by particular economic efficiency and environmental friendliness will be at the center of the Wacker Neuson Group booth. In addition to the new track dumper DT10e, Wacker Neuson is exhibiting other solutions for emission-free work: the wheel loader WL20e, the battery-powered rammer AS 30 and AS 50 as well as the excavator 803 dual power.

The track dumper DT10e with electric drive is always used if no exhaust emissions should be generated when transporting materials. Construction companies use the track dumper with a maximum payload of 1,000 kilograms or a bucket volume of up to 427 liters (heaped), for example, for material transport during demolition work indoors. Due to its compact dimensions with a width of just 790 millimeters, the track dumper DT10e fits through every standard door. In combination with the excavator 803 dual power, which also works completely emission-free due to the electro-hydraulic power unit HPU8, work can therefore be performed even in sensitive areas. Other typical application areas of the electric dumper can be found in gardening and landscaping. End users and the environment also benefit here from zero exhaust fumes and very low noise emissions.

Three electric motors are built into the DT10e dumper. Two motors drive the tracks and the third electric motor is used for the work hydraulics. Thanks to this innovative drive technology, there are no combustion gases when using the track dumper. Companies who choose the compact dumper DT10e can therefore also benefit from being emission-free, but also do not need to make any compromises in terms of performance. The electric motors ensure that the performance characteristics correspond to those of the conventionally powered model DT10. In terms of stability, the electrically driven dumper is in no way inferior to the diesel-powered model. The gradeability – with a loaded bucket – is 20 degrees or, as the case may be, 36 per cent. The operator also benefits from the safe and convenient operation of the DT10e dumper, which is outfitted with self-aligning rollers that ensure a high running smoothness. The dumper features two powerful battery packs (LiFePO4) and an integrated battery charger, which also serves for a high ease of operation. The dumper with electric drive will be available as from autumn 2015.

Since 2013, Wacker Neuson has been distinguishing particularly economical and environmentally friendly products and solutions with the ECO seal. This seal makes the lived culture of enterprise and innovation of Wacker Neuson visible to customers. The DT10e dumper was also awarded with this seal.
