Potain tower cranes are facilitating the construction of a 14-story high-rise at 109 E Wilson in Madison, Wisconsin, in a project by construction firm Findorff. The development will include 244 residential units, a food hall with seven restaurants, a rooftop pool, a Sky Lounge, and other amenities, all designed to achieve LEED Silver standards. Reynolds Rigging and Crane Service, Inc. supplied the Potain MDT 489 M25 and MDT 219 J10 cranes due to their ability to fit within the tight space and comply with airport flight path restrictions. CASE IH has introduced its 2025 Magnum tractor lineup, which includes new models featuring enhanced power, transmission, and hydraulic systems aimed at boosting efficiency and productivity. The tractors are powered by FPT six-cylinder Stage V 8.7-litre engines, delivering between 390 hp and 435 hp. Users can choose between two transmission options: the 21F/5R PowerDrive full powershift and the CVXDrive. The new models are debuted alongside hydraulic upgrades and precision technology enhancements, such as three technology packages, the AccuSync for data sharing, and the CASE IH Pro 1200 display. The new series includes connectivity features with no recurring fees, promoting greater productivity through remote monitoring and streamlined workflows. Manitou Group introduced the ultra-light Manitou ULM telehandler paired with a specially designed aluminum trailer at the bauma trade fair in Munich. This compact telehandler, offered in ULM 412 and ULM 415 versions, is designed for confined spaces and challenging locations. The trailer, with a gross vehicle weight of 3.5 tons, allows the ULM to be transported by car. Its optimized features, like dimensions and lashing points, ensure quick and secure loading. The solution attracts local authorities, landscapers, fire departments, and farmers. Steyr has introduced updated Plus tractor models with enhanced features, focusing on two new transmission choices and improved specifications. The largest models, 4100, 4110, and 4120, now offer an electro-hydraulic powershuttle 12F/12R transmission catering to front loader needs, in addition to the existing 24F/24R HiLo transmission, both designed for tailored loader workloads. General upgrades across all models include LED worklights, a larger fuel tank, increased hydraulic capacity, and greater ground clearance. A new S635 front loader option provides enhanced stability and visibility, with factory-fit or dealer installation options. The models also feature refined comfort and operational facilities, such as mechanical cab suspension, auto PTO, and electric autoguidance available from late 2025, aiming to meet varied agricultural demands efficiently.
