Pöttinger has introduced new features for its PLANO shallow cultivator, enhancing its effectiveness for both small family farms and large-scale operations. The cultivator now includes heavy-duty tines, which can replace the rear roller to improve residue distribution and soil structure, as well as oscillating spiral spring tines for better performance on light to medium soils. Optional wheel mark loosening tines enable the loosening of tractor tracks without increasing working depth. The upgraded PLANO is designed to offer precise shallow tillage, making it a crucial tool for integrated plant protection amidst restrictions on herbicides and evolving weed resistance. Designed for applications involving cranes, aerial platforms, and drilling rigs, it operates at 3,000 psi with a maximum oil flow of 32 US gpm, supporting up to 195 ft rope length.
