Hitachi ZX400MC-7 excavator takes demolition to next level

To maximise efficiency, uptime and safety on demolition projects, Hitachi is introducing the ZX400MC-7 at this year’s Bauma exhibition. The multi-carrier model is based on a Hitachi ZX350LC-7 standard excavator, with Zaxis-7 technology and Stage V-compliant engine. This is one of three new special application machines developed exclusively with German company KTEG, part of the EAC (European Application Center) joint venture with Hitachi Construction Machinery, Co., Ltd in Japan. GRI completes Phase II of its specialty tire factory expansion

GRI has completed phase II of its USD 100 million production capacity upgradation investment for its specialty tire facility in Sri Lanka. With phase II complete, production capacity will be increased by almost 100% from present capacity, to provide an output of 60 tons per day. It will support the increase in demand experienced for the company’s agriculture tire category that was launched in 2018 across key markets primarily in the USA, Europe, and Australia. Read more >>

Liebherr also offers its LTC 1050-3.1 compact crane in a boom variant with rapid rope pull technology. This provides an alternative to the variant with conventional TELEMATIK fast-cycle telescoping system, which is ideally suited, among other things, for use in narrow or low production or exhibition halls. The boom can be telescoped to a length of 31 metres. Wasel, a crane and heavy load company based in Bergheim near Cologne, has acquired three of these new single-cab cranes. Read more >>
