New Liebherr LTM 1450-8.1 mobile crane delivers strength and flexibility
The Ingolstadt site of crane contractor BKL Baukran Logistik has had a new Liebherr LTM 1450-8.1 mobile crane since February. The first job for the brand-new eight-axle crane, the dismantling of a 75 metre construction crane, was perfect for it. An autonomous workhorse: The Linde C-MATIC
The automated guided cart autonomously maneuvers through the storage area on a previously installed magnetic tape. At the pick-up point, it drives underneath the waiting trolley and “docks” onto it via an extendable pin hook. The Linde C-MATIC can move loads weighing up to 650 kg with ease and takes them to their destination at a maximum speed of 3 km/h on a fixed travel route. A convenient feature is that the magnetic tape can be installed or replaced quickly and easily. Read more >>
