The importer Fassi France and the manufacturer Marrel will be exhibiting in Paris at Intermat 2018, the International Exhibition of Construction and Infrastructures, from 23rd to 28th April (every day from 9am to 6pm), along with the brand of JEKKO mini cranes.

Held every three years, the Parisian show is the leading event for the entire sector, capable of bringing together all the most qualified professionals in the construction industry: they represent more than 50% of the world's 100 largest construction companies. The last edition brought together 1,500 exhibitors, 70% of whom were internationals from 40 countries and 183,000 visitors from 167 countries. Equipment and products are divided into four categories: Earth moving and demolition; roads, minerals and foundations; buildings and the concrete industry; lifting, handling and transport.

Mobility, housing, energy, digital, employment: these are the major challenges that make the construction and infrastructure sector one of the main drivers of regional transformation in economic, social and environmental terms. As a reference in this rapidly changing market, Intermat has made innovation and new technologies one of the axes of development of the 2018 edition. All these values are widely shared by Fassi Gru.

Commenting on the participation in Intermat 2018, Roger Boutonnet, President of Fassi France, said: "This edition of Intermat is at a particularly favourable time for the French construction and infrastructure market, which last year saw an increase of 27.5% compared to 2016. Fassi France was the leader in this expansion, maintaining a market share of 21.5%, a positive trend that strengthens us for 2018-2019. Our participation in Intermat therefore has a very important strategic aspect, as this is the first time that Fassi France, Marrel and Jekko are exhibiting together on the same stand, a sign for our network, but also an opportunity to showcase the group's strength.

On stand E5-M-026, in the outdoor area, Fassi France will be exhibiting a thorough selection of lifting equipment on a 400 square metre area.

From Fassi Gru’s medium range there will be the Fassi F185A.2.22 xe-dynamic in a special configuration for construction and Fassi F255A.2.25 xe-dynamic.

There will also be two models for heavier applications: the Fassi F455A.2.26 e-dynamic and the Fassi F820RA.2.27 xhe-dynamic.

Two Marrel Amplirolls, the AL 20 PA and AL 24, from 26 to 32 t, will be on display. Distinguishing features include: rear hydraulic lock, automatic mechanical locking to stop the main arm and tilting frame in tilt mode, pneumatic control in the cab, axle-mounted hook for easy replacement, pre-drilled auxiliary frame, free tilting frame that serves as a power supply for the multiplier, dashboard integrated in the main cylinders.

From Jekko, the SPX424 mini telescopic crawler crane with stabilisers is on display: easily transportable and manoeuvrable, it does not require long set-up time and is available as a practical lifting system that saves time while ensuring high levels of safety and lifting capacity. The JF40 articulated crawler crane, for its part, is the equipment of a truck-mounted articulated crane on a self-propelled track, the future of crawler cranes. Finally, the new Multi-Loader JML25, a crawler transport platform with automatic levelling, a unique innovation.
