Anniversary Field Day Lozova Machinery – 5 years of openness

The largest agricultural event in Southeastern Ukraine – the 5th International Field Day LOZOVA MACHINERY – was held on July, 18. It gathered together business partners and farmers from Ukraine, guests from Romania, Great Britain, Bulgaria, Moldova, Hungary and Baltic States. A large-scale demo-show was organized within the Field Day. Guests were able to see latest developments, including the unique machinery which had never been presented on domestic market before. The Cat® 794 AC Mining Truck is now available equipped to meet U.S. EPA Tier 4 Final exhaust emissions standards. In field testing, the Tier 4 pilot trucks matched the superior performance and productivity of the Tier 2 equivalent versions of the 794 AC. Hoisting over obstacles with Liebherr cranes – 108 tonne steel tank moved over 12 metre pipe bridge

Three large Liebherr mobile cranes were sent by crane and heavy haulage logistics contractor Maxikraft, which mainly operates in the east of Germany, to complete a tricky job at a chemical plant near Halle (Saale) – a storage tank weighing over 100 tonnes had to be transported from its assembly area through the factory site to its destination and then installed in the plant. The route through the factory site was blocked by a large pipe bridge. Read more >>

Carrying valuable cargo through the Chilean mines

Chile is one of the most prosperous countries in South America, and one reason for this is a valuable resource – copper. This is primarily extracted in the El Teniente mine in Rancagua, the world's largest subterranean copper mine. Estimates suggest that 100 megatons of fine copper lie underground in this location. A network of 3,000 kilometres of drifts has been developed to access this valuable major export, and around a half a million tons of fine copper are produced from the ore mined each year.
