Peter Gross Bau led a successful pipeline renewal project in Gärtringen, Germany, involving replacing outdated infrastructure for the new Ludwig-Uhland-Halle, a modern multi-purpose facility. Utilizing heavy machinery from KEMROC, including a 35-tonne excavator with an EK 150 chain cutter and a 75-tonne excavator equipped with an EKT 220 drum cutter, the project focused on low-vibration excavation of approximately 3,000 m³ of dolomite rock. The work entailed creating deep trenches for new rainwater and wastewater systems, replacing an old combined sewer, and installing reinforced concrete structures. Despite challenging conditions, the project was ahead of schedule by December 2024, with the March 2025 deadline anticipated to be met. Read more >>
