Bauma Conexpo Africa 2015 opens on September 15. XCMG, China’s largest and most comprehensive, competitive and influential construction machinery manufacturer, presents its latest technology achievements and a strong lineup of products. At the 1200㎡ booth T1.328, XCMG shows 13 machines and 9 parts which are all targeted for the African market.
The XCMG machines exhibited include QY30K5-I、QY50KA truck cranes, XE215C、XE335C excavators, ZL50GN loader, WZ30-25 backhoe loader, XT750 skid steer loader, aerial working platforms, a wrecker, and parts of truck mounted crane. The lineup became a focus of the show as soon as they were unveiled.
XCMG has been No.1 worldwide in mobile crane sector for years. The cranes showed in this exhibition still represents the most advanced technology in this sector. The QY30K5-I truck crane is incorporated with a series of new technologies include embedded slider, dodecagon-interface boom, load sensor system, large-torque hydraulic motor, load moment limiter, and bi-operating-condition engine, etc. The QY50KA truck crane is configured with dual-pump-converging technology, power shift assistance, humanized cab design, etc.
At present, XCMG is China’s only manufacturer of very large excavating and earth-moving machinery and complete sets of mining machinery, offering a full range of products in three major categories of machinery, i.e. excavators (1.5-400 tons), loaders (1.8-12 tons) and mining dumpers (30-400 tons), and integrated equipment solutions for earthwork construction and mining. The XE215C、XE335C excavators, ZL50GN loader, WZ30-25 backhoe loader, and XT750 skid steer loader are mature XCMG earth-moving products with high cost-effective.
Entering the aerial working platform sector in 2007, XCMG has put forward two series of products covering working height from 12m to 40m. XCMG aerial working platforms have been exported to South East Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, etc. and have been applied in various projects. The three products exhibited are of 12m, 14m, and 17m which meets the requirements of African market. The three models are configured with reliable hydraulic system, emergency response system, electronic timer, and high adaptable outriggers.
To meet the requirement of increasing road emergency settling equipment, XCMG put forward a wrecker during the exhibition. The product is a necessity in handling car accidents.
In recent years, XCMG has made great strides in the R&D of core components. On the basis of its acquisition of two European manufacturers and its Europe R&D center, XCMG has substantially sped up the development of core technologies in valves, pumps, motors and hydraulic systems. By creating joint ventures with German, American and Korean companies, XCMG has made breakthroughs in slewing bearing, drive axle, motor and torque limiter. The truck-mounted crane parts exhibited are incorporated with new technologies including dead link mechanism, flange telescopic technology, hexagon-interface boom, etc.
For years, XCMG has achieved encouraging results in the African market. According to customs statistics, XCMG exported over US$200 million worth of products to Africa in 2013. The group posted US$170 million in export value in 2014 and nearly US$90 million in the first half of 2015, positioning it as the largest Chinese exporter to the market for consecutive years. Over the years, XCMG has invested heavily in improving product quality and adaptability, agent development, channel building, and service and spare part support. XCMG's increasing R&D input has culminated in an extensive array of equipment applicable to extreme operating conditions such as extremely high and low temperatures, high altitudes, and deserts. Geared to customer needs, it has developed a wide variety of total machinery solutions for mining, forestry, road, concrete, and energy applications.
After years of hard work, XCMG has established a mature marketing network and service parts system in Africa. Currently, the group has 2 branches in Ghana and Guinea, and 25 distribution outlets in Guinea, Ghana, Nigeria, Cameroon and other countries.
