The cloud-based system solution STIHL connected at a glance: The STIHL Smart Connector fitted to gasoline, electric or cordless tools of the STIHL brand or other makes and the Smart Connector 2 A inserted into the housing of STIHL cordless tools prepared for this purpose record and store the operating hours when the motor is operated. The Smart Connector 2 A also records the motor speed and any faults, including time and date stamps. This information is transmitted via Bluetooth either to the STIHL connected app installed on the user's smartphone or tablet, or to a connected box within range. This device data is then sent - together with the geo-position of the smartphone, tablet or connected box if desired - to the STIHL Cloud as a central data store.
