ALE’s Spanish branch hosts successful power and nuclear generation conference

ALE’s Spanish branch held a technical conference in June, focusing on the power and nuclear sector. As the sixth in a series of highly acclaimed events organised by ALE, the conference was geared towards young professionals from the civil engineering industry and the main aim was to present the work methods used by ALE in the sectors in which they operate.

The event was attended by professionals from 15 of the most prestigious companies in Spain. The conference had two special guests speakers: José María Bernaldo de Quirós,  Manager of Almaraz Nuclear Plant, who gave a talk about the challenges of moving heavy loads inside of  a nuclear plant; the other guest was Santiago Rodríguez Noriega, General Manager of INITEC ENERGIA, who reflected on how to get success in international markets, especially in emergent countries.
