AUSA & VAN DYCK MARCEL Belgium NV agree upon collaboration for the Belgium market.

VAN DYCK MARCEL Belgium NV, importer and supplier of various machinery for green maintenance and urban equipment, located in the region between Brussels and Antwerp in Belgium and AUSA, have agreed upon a contract in which VAN DYCK is being appointed as the new importer for AUSA’s urban machinery in Belgium.

In January, Joël van Dyck, the managing director and owner of the company, and his father Marcel van Dyck, the founder of the company, visited AUSA in Manresa, to get an overview of the company and the products. They were clearly impressed from the production facilities and the size of the AUSA product portfolio.

Geert van Dijk, Sales Manager Urban Range GAS & Benelux and Josep Soler, Country Manager GAS & Benelux, see in the company VAN DYCK a key partner for the sales from the AUSA Urban products in Belgium thanks to its wide experience in this market. As Mr Soler points out “Belgium is an interesting market where our Urban machines are going to be highly appreciated, due to the polyvalence that they offering to the cities, which they can perform summer and winter service with just a platform. This is extremely important, bearing in mind that today the utility of any machine plays a crucial role, and municipalities try to shorten the dead times for such capital intensive tools”.

Mr. van Dyck pointed out “AUSA products will be for us key products. Our job will be to convince our clients from the advantages of these products. The multifunctional sweeper B200H iLink will be the main product from all, due to its polyvalence; but also the M200, the M350 and the B400 will be interesting products for our customers”.

In order to offer and outstanding sales and service levels, VAN DYCK decided to hire a Mr. de Quint, a fully dedicated sales responsible to promote AUSA Urban products. Mr. de Quint brings along more than 15 years experience in selling sweepers, and it is a well known professional in the sector. In fact, just after a few weeks of cooperation, the first orders have already arrived,

It must be said that late last year Ausa won a tender issued by Brussels Net, to supply different road sweeper B200 equipped with Euro VI engines, which are currently being delivered to the city of Brussels.
