A Bobcat T76 compact track loader played a vital role in the preparation and ongoing maintenance of the course for the the sixth round of the 2024 Motocross World Championship held on 11th and 12th May 2024 at the Jorge Prado Municipal Circuit in the city of Lugo in Spain.

Lovers of motocross were able to enjoy the best riders in the world in action on this spectacular circuit, with a unique layout, located in the middle of an area of ​​great scenic beauty.

The Jorge Prado Municipal Circuit typically has a length of 1700 m and a width of between 8 and 10 m throughout the entire route, with a variety of jumps, a double lane area, downhill jumps and straight line areas with waves. The Bobcat T76 loader worked on every curve and ramp, adapting the terrain for the tough test ahead, according to Miguel Ángel Vázquez, President of the Lugo Motopark Club.

Compaction without ruts and agility on the track

The Bobcat T76 compact track loader was chosen as the ideal model to carry out the preparation and maintenance tasks on the circuit together with another machine for flatter sections.

For this demanding task, Bobcat dealer, Talleres Turquino, provided completely new equipment from its rental equipment fleet for the event. Rubén Lorente, the manager at Talleres Turquino, also adds that they decided to add counterweights to enhance the compaction capacity of the rubber tracks on the T76.
