BvL: 360° camera system for self-propelled mixer wagons

Maneuvering a mixer wagon on a farm always involves the risk of potentially dangerous situations, e.g. when the vehicle is backed out of the clamp or the barn. For this reason, Bernard van Lengerich Maschinenfabrik (BvL) is now offering a 360° camera system for their self-propelling mixer wagons.

This 360° camera affords the driver a bird's eye view of the vehicle including all of its blind spots. The system merges the images captured from four cameras that are positioned on top of the vehicle to a single image, delivering to the driver an all-round view of the vehicle. The new system relieves the driver of the burden to keep an eye on several mirrors and monitors, allowing him to keep in full control of the entire immediate area of the machine with just a cursory glance.
