CM Labs Simulations, the leading vendor for simulation-based training solutions in the ports, construction, and utilities industries, today announced the expansion of its Remote Operating line of products with the addition of remotely operated rubber-tired gantry crane training. The new solution will be featured at booth #F26 alongside other recently launched next-generation ports training technology at TOC Europe 2025, taking place June 17–19 at the Ahoy Centre in Rotterdam.

Developed in response to client feedback, these new additions to CM Labs’ wide-ranging portfolio of engineering-grade training tools support the company’s mission to improve operational efficiency, advance operator readiness, and support the adoption of remote equipment. TOC Europe attendees will have the opportunity to experience the technology with hands-on demonstrations and a networking event.

“As ports navigate the complexities of automation, sustainability, and workforce development, effective training for world-class operators is an essential requirement,” said Lisa Barbieri, VP of Marketing and Strategic Partnerships at CM Labs. “The Intellia product line delivers consistent, objective, and realistic training that helps ports accelerate onboarding, support safety initiatives, and maintain operational standards with confidence.”

CM Labs will present the following products and demonstrations at booth #F26:

  • Remotely Operated Rubber-Tired Gantry Crane Training System (ROS RTG): The Remotely Operated Rubber-Tired Gantry Crane Training System (ROS RTG) features a Remote Operating Station from industry leader Spohn + Burkhardt, which includes a motorized, height-adjustable tabletop with memory settings to ensure operator comfort. Paired with the Intellia Training Pack, the system provides guided, skill-building, and customizable exercises designed to deliver safe, effective training with unmatched simulation fidelity.

  • Updated Ship-to-Shore Crane Training Pack (STS): Now with instant record and replay, as well as optimized ITV/straddle carrier lane configurations, the updated Ship-To-Shore Crane Training Pack makes corrective training even easier than before. With instant record and replay, trainers can immediately review a completed exercise, including automatically timestamped key events—such as objective completions and safety violations—for fast and effective training.

  • Tech demonstration of new AI-powered chatbot: CM Labs’ latest innovation, an AI-powered chatbot, is designed to answer questions and enhance and simplify the training experience. It was built using technology from the company’s new acquisition, AI Redefined, a Montreal-based company renowned for its work in real-time, human-AI collaboration. This acquisition reflects CM Labs’ long-standing vision of transforming operator training and furthering its legacy as the creator of industry-leading solutions.

  • Interactive networking event: Held in the booth on Tuesday, June 17, from 17:00 - 19:00, this will be a gathering that allows attendees to meet the team, experience hands-on simulator demos, and explore all of the latest advancements in simulation training technology.

To experience these new solutions firsthand, visit CM Labs at TOC Europe, booth #F26, from 17 - 19 June 2025 at Ahoy Centre, Rotterdam, Netherlands.
