-
Available in two sizes, it suits excavators from 7 to 17 tonnes and can cut vegetation up to 20 cm diameter and reach working heights up to 12 meters.
-
The tool enables faster vertical and horizontal cutting, allowing maintenance of verges and embankments in a single pass, enhancing operational efficiency.
-
Combining cutting and sawing with an adjustable counterblade, CutWheel delivers a cleaner, neater cut and can also clear ditches by removing bushes in one step.
Users have given positive feedback on the efficiency, easy use, and great cutting quality of CutWheel by Holp - the only wall and hedge trimmer designed as an excavator attachment.
CutWheel completely redefines the way maintenance work is carried out on clearance profiles and embankments along roads and paths. Designed as a classic excavator attachment, it enables an operator to carry out maintenance work efficiently and comfortably without the need for an expensive aerial work platform or manual assistance from outside.
The special wall and hedge trimmer, CutWheel, is available in two sizes: one for excavators with an operating weight of 7 to 11 tonnes, and another for machines weighing 12 to 17 tonnes; the latter allows a working height of up to 12 metres and can be used to cut or saw vegetation with a diameter ranging from 3 mm up to 20 cm.

Impressive efficiency
These characteristics are convincing about CutWheel: it offers a significantly higher working speed when using the CutWheel, and its high cutting speed allows it to perform faster up-and-down movements than are possible with a conventional hedge trimmer. There is also the possibility to use the CutWheel not only to work vertically but also to cut grass and bushes horizontally to the ground. This means, for example, that verges and embankments can be maintained in a single pass and the clippings cleared away immediately, which leads to further time savings.

Great results: A really neat cut
As CutWheel can not only cut but also saw, it is easier to saw off longer branches or young saplings with a larger diameter quite close to the tree, resulting in a cleaner overall appearance of the hedge or embankment. With other shears, one is often forced to cut branches further on the outside, resulting in a smaller diameter. CutWheel offers a cut that looks much better than the one achieved by conventional shears. The adjustable counterblade makes that result possible.
Apart from cutting and sawing, CutWheel can be used for other tasks: when maintaining ditches, for example, it is not only possible to cut away wild bushes along the embankment, but – thanks to its round shape – one can also remove them directly from the ditch in a single operation before levelling it out with the VarioBucket.
