ECOMONDO… ALL OVER THE WORLD TO INCREASE FOREIGN DEMAND

Rimini, 8th May 2012 – An international showcase for the Italian industry of environmental technologies. ECOMONDO 2012 (Rimini Fiera, 7-10 November) addresses companies’ need for access to new business opportunities and has therefore organized a calendar of international missions able to select and profile groups of buyers from emerging markets.

The network of foreign agents and the sales staff of ECOMONDO have scheduled specific missions to Paris, Brno, Munich, Saragossa and Birmingham, as well as the most productive zones of Brazil, while a joint exhibit by Italian companies from 7th to 10 June will be a key player at the Istanbul REW expo in Turkey.

As well as these missions, there will be specific activities in Russia and ex-CSI republics, Bulgaria, Serbia, Romania, Poland, Czech Republic, North Africa and Middle East, Germany and Great Britain. At the last edition of ECOMONDO, there were almost 8,000 foreign visitors.

The activity is carried out both at commercial level and on the front of relations with international press and trade associations, in order to spread the news on the expo’s contents in areas in which the need for technologies for waste recovery and re-use becomes increasingly urgent every day.

The result of this activity is entirely to the advantage of the companies taking part in ECOMONDO 2012, who will be able to plan their business meetings prior to the expo, via the market place.

On the exhibit front, following the agreement announced for the return to ECOMONDO (from 2013) of the Waste Vehicle Expo (SAL.VE), two important collaborations that will take concrete form right from 2012 in the waste handling sector are worthy of note.

Agreements have been signed with UNACEA (National Union of Construction Equipment & Attachment Companies, which represents two third if the value of the entire Italian earthmoving machinery and equipment industry of and is a member of the CECE European Committee for European Construction Equipment, which is a network of the national associations of 13 countries and represents approximately 1,200 companies) and ASCOMAC - CANTIERMACCHINE, the Confcommercio member union of importers, distributors, manufacturers, concessionaires and renters of earthmoving, building site and construction machinery. The INERTECH section of ECOMONDO 2012, dedicated to waste recycling in the construction world, is thus enriched by further important expo content.

Lastly, it is worth remembering that, as well as ECOMONDO, from November 7th to 10th 2012 Rimini Fiera will also simultaneously hold the 6th edition of KEY ENERGY international expo for sustainable energy and mobility and COOPERAMBIENTE, the fifth edition of the show that highlights the best experiences of cooperation as far as the environment is concerned.
