Envoys of 36 African Countries Visiting Sany

On June 11-13, 2015, over 50 diplomatic envoys, charge d’affaires and counselors of 36 African countries take part in the activity of “Hunan Journey of African Envoys in China” and visit Sany Heavy Industry.

“Hunan Journey of African Envoys in China” is co-hosted by the Department of Commerce of Hunan Province and the Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Hunan Province and organized and undertaken by Sany Heavy Industry. During the event, Mr. Du Jiahao, deputy secretary of The CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and Governor of Hunan Provincial Committee, arranges a meeting with the envoys who later have a forum with representatives of more than 50 enterprises in engineering manufacturing and housing industrialization, such as Sany Heavy Industry, CGCOC Group and Hunan Construction Engineering Group, to have a deep discussion and communication on resources sharing, advantages complementing and co-developing in African regions.

On the afternoon of June 12, 2015, envoys from Algeria, Angola, Benin, Central Africa and other African countries pay a visit to the Exhibition Room and the Intelligent Production Workshop of Sany Heavy Industry with the companion of Mr. Xiang Wenbo, President of Sany Heavy Industry, who makes an explicit introduction about Sany’s development, international exploration and future planning. Mr. Xiang Wenbo also discusses with the envoys on housing industrialization and One Belt and One Road to promote the progress of Sany’s business in African countries.

Within over 20 years, Sany has developed to be a world-known construction manufacturing enterprise with its own innovation. Its concrete machinery occupies the largest share in the global market; excavators have been top 1 in the successive 4 years in Chinese market; and there are obvious and absolute advantages of Sany’s hoisting machinery, pile-driving machinery and road-construction machinery.

Meanwhile, Sany makes a proactive transform to new businesses such as construction industrialization, smart port projects, mining projects, oil-gas refining and wind power generation, which are the main parts of Sany’s new plan named “5-dragon go abroad” , with a view to grasping the opportunities brought by One Belt and One Road and the internationalization. 

The envoys are amazed at Sany’s rapid development and regard equipment made by Sany is now illustrating a new image of products made in china. They are impressed by the villas Sany built within 7 days with its technology of housing industrialization which are highly efficient and environment friendly. They take pictures of villas and wish those made-in-china products could boost the economics in Africa in the future. Envoys from Algeria and Mauritius even invite Sany on the spot to build such houses in their countries. The commercial counselor from Ethiopia says they are happy and satisfied about the attractive on-site tour.
