The KDS 30 is the first model from the new KEMROC KDS range of powerful diamond cutters to be shown at bauma 2019. These excavator attachments cut easily and quickly through steel, rock or concrete. Additional models will be released later in 2019.
The KDS range of diamond cutting attachments is a completely new product group developed by KEMROC. The first model from the German manufacturer based in Thuringia will make its debut at the world’s largest construction equipment exhibition, bauma 2019. The KDS 30 is designed for use on excavators in the 5 to 10-ton weight range. The hydraulic motor gives a maximum rotation speed of 2,000 rpm and all models will be equipped with mechanical depth control. The cutting depth will depend on the diameter of the diamond wheel fitted.
Used on standard midi-excavators, this new range of attachments from KEMROC opens a variety of new opportunities for these machines, for example in demolition and refurbishment projects. Applications could include cutting through steel, re-enforced concrete or brick work in cramped conditions. Demolition robots can also be equipped with these diamond wheel attachments.
The KDS 30 is available for delivery immediately after bauma 2019. In the second half of the year, two larger models, the KDS 40 for use on 10 to 16-ton and the KDS 50 for use on 15 to 25-ton excavators, will be available.
