Schwarzmüller introduces the RH100 3-axle flatbed semi-trailer with an extendable frame at NUFAM 2025.
-
The trailer features an extendable central frame construction up to 7,000 mm, combining lightweight steel frame and robust equipment for maximum flexibility and load capacity.
-
Designed for heavy-duty use, it supports up to 20 tons of point load over 5 meters, ideal for transporting crane parts, containers, machines, and extra-long building materials.
-
The loading area extends in 500 mm increments with pneumatic locking and a visual indicator light for safety, featuring a low loading height of approximately 1,010 mm.
-
Equipped with various load securing elements, including lashing rings, lashing mushrooms, plug-in housings, and container locks, it ensures flexible load securing for oversized loads.
-
The trailer includes advanced features like an automatic axle lift, trailing third axle with reverse lock, tire pressure monitoring system, and WABCO's Smart Board for telematics use.
Schwarzmüller presents the 3-axle tele-semi-trailer at NUFAM 2025
For particularly heavy and bulky transport tasks, Schwarzmüller is presenting a trade fair highlight at its stand at NUFAM 2025: the RH100 3-axle flatbed semi-trailer with extendable frame – a highly functional special vehicle for the professional transport of building materials and construction machinery.
With an extendable central frame construction (up to 7,000 mm) and a well-thought-out combination of lightweight steel frame, robust equipment, and precise lashing technology, the vehicle offers maximum flexibility and load capacity. Whether crane parts, containers, machines, or extra-long building materials: the vehicle is designed for up to 20 tons of point load over 5 meters and is therefore equipped for even the heaviest and most diverse requirements.
“This flatbed vehicle is not only resilient, but also cleverly designed. It combines maximum usable length with a variety of intelligent features – ideal for freight forwarders specializing in special transports and construction logistics,” explains Ferdinand Hamedinger, Product Manager for Platform Vehicles at the Schwarzmüller Group.

Well thought-out design for heavy-duty use
The basic length of the loading area is around 13,500 mm and can be extended in increments – with pneumatic locking in 500 mm increments. The controlled locking mechanism and a visual indicator light ensure safety when extended. The solid design of the frame neck is only 100 mm high, which allows for a low loading height (approx. 1,010 mm) for convenient loading and unloading – especially when using the loading ramps included in the scope of delivery.
A combination of various load securing elements, such as 4 pairs of 8-ton lashing rings, 9 pairs of 10-ton lashing rings, 10 pairs of lashing mushrooms in the outer frame, and a large number of plug-in housings – distributed over the entire loading area – allows for flexible load securing, even with oversized loads. In addition, there are 8 hot-dip galvanized plug-in stanchions with a usable height of approx. 1,500 mm. The extendable semi-trailer also offers container locks (for 1x40ft, 2x20ft, 1x30ft, etc.) for additional versatility of the vehicle.
Intelligent technology meets practical equipment
The complete package includes an automatic axle lift, a trailing third axle with reverse lock, a tire pressure monitoring system (“Optitire”) and WABCO's Smart Board, which can be used to read important vehicle data such as axle loads and mileage. The vehicle is already equipped with SWIT (Schwarzmüller Intelligent Telematics) for telematics use.
