Hüffermann – part of the Schwarzmüller Group since 2020 – with around 1,200 vehicles per year in the field of skip and roller containers, is presenting the Vario Carrier 2-axle turntable trailer at this year's NUFAM in Karlsruhe. A well-designed transport solution for flexible use with skip containers. The Vario-Carrier is “Made in Germany” and designed for the transport of skip containers in accordance with DIN 30720 – in sizes between 5 and 20 m³ – and enables both front and rear loading. The stable frame construction with welded longitudinal beams and cross members made of high-strength fine-grained special steel in S700 guarantees durability even under heavy use. Optionally, the vehicles can also be provided with hot-dip galvanizing – in combination with high-quality primer and paint in the customer's desired color – for optimal corrosion protection!

Chainless load securing with smart technology

A sophisticated securing system ensures that loads are secured safely: in addition to classic chain tensioners and the easy-to-use SAFETY-Fix, Schwarzmüller also offers chainless variants such as the patented MULTI-Fix. The MULTI-Fix system, which has now been tried and tested for over 10 years, secures the container solely via the container's tilt bearing. This allows the container to be fixed quickly and particularly securely – an absolute advantage in everyday work.

The Vario-Carrier also impresses with its chassis: air-suspended axles with a choice of disc or drum brakes, automatic lowering when parking, and modern tire pressure monitoring systems are all part of the equipment. The permissible total weight is 18 to 24 tons, depending on the variant.

A modern full-LED lighting system, optionally supplemented by work lights, reversing lights, and rotating beacons, ensures optimum visibility and safety in road traffic.
